Welcome Message

Dear Colleagues,

Epilepsy is one of the most common neurological disorders in any part of the world. The social and economic impact of epilepsy is far more pervasive and enduring, than the seizures that last only for a minute. Recently there had been significant strides in the understanding of how seizures occur and get perpetuated, how it can be controlled or eliminated by medical or surgical treatments.

The International League Against Epilepsy, International Bureau of Epilepsy and its counterparts in India, Indian Epilepsy Society and Indian Epilepsy Association have been attempting to translate the current research in this field into changes in practice and care that would make a difference for the people with epilepsy.
